Spring Sale!!

According to the calendar, spring is right around the corner. But I think Mother Nature has other plans in mind. I don't know about you, but I am soooo ready for warmer weather. I NEED Spring, and sun, and flowers, and birds, and bike rides!

There will also be a folder with web-ready images all set to post to FB. So go ahead.. plaster your page with photos of your family/kids/neighbor/dog (kidding, I don't do pets... haha. This deal will not last... so book now! A 50% deposit is due upon booking to secure your date/time. The remaining 50% is due at the session. Did I mention that you can book as far out as you like? I Shot Someone In Detroit! | southeast michigan photogapher

I am a horrible blogger. Lets just get that out in the open, shall we? I confess, I suck at blogging. There, I said it. Now.. moving on. ;-)

This past July I was invited to attend the "I Shot Someone In Detroit Workshop" organized by Amy Porter, of "Little Sweet Pea Photography". It was awesome. Two days of shooting and talking shop. I was able to pick the brains of some pretty awesome photographers. I feel awful that I am only just now blogging my pics. But, like I said.... I suck at blogging. ;-)

Anyhow... seniors and kids and a super cute couple (I even shot some boudoir, but that is not going on the blog. Sorry. ;)

I am so excited kids... you have NO idea!!! My uh-MAZING friend, Jyl, from Cherub Chic, just sent me a big box of goodies and I am DYING to test them out!!

Fashion Friday | family of females

I really have been neglecting Fashion Fridays. :/ Sorry about that one. But never fear! FF is back, and the first look is so cute and easy... ANYONE can pull it off!

The look comes from Old Navy.  I'm loving the mix of bright pink and purple and navy. And the textures on the moms shirt, and the little girls shirts are great for visual detail! The stripes and flower patterns mix wonderfully together. This an easy casual look that any family can pull off, no sweat.

No, you could swap out dads pink striped polo for a solid color, OR a stripe with no pink (I know I could probably never convince my hubby to wear pink.. lol) And you could add leggings to the middle girls outfit as well, if you wanted.

The point of FF is give you IDEAS about how to put together a look that WORKS together. There is no need to all wear the exact same thing (unless you want to... there is nothing wrong with that), but you DO want outfits that compliment one another instead of competing with one another. ;)

Another thing to remember is that you do not need to go out and buy everyone new clothes. Shop your OWN closet first, see what you have that works together. You might need to buy a few things, but there is no need to break the bank. ;)

west coast family fun | howell, michigan photographer

This cutie family came all the way from California to have me photograph them! Oh... and to visit family. hee hee This is my brother-in-law and his totally gorgeous family. They were so fun to photograph. I love their laid-back-cali-style. Makes me kinda miss the west coast. Kinda. ;)

We had a great time... even though my little nephew wasn't really all that into it, we still captured some wonderful moments! EnJoY!!

I had a few people on my fan page ask me about sessions when I come to Michigan this summer. Well.. I'm happy to say that I have finally nailed down my dates AND figured out the special I will be offering this year!

You may have noticed that this year I am not offereing "mini sessions".. just "full sessions"... BUT... you may also notice that I lowered the price of the "full sessions" this year. It's a win-win.. ;-)
