A Move And A Sale!

I feel like I've been slacking terribly in the blog-o-sphere lately, but I also feel I have good reason. ;) This past winter the Hubs took a new job out on the west side of Michigan. It was HUGE change for our family, but one we were pretty excited about. The spring was spent looking for houses and FINALLY..this July we closed on our home. We've spent the last two months getting settled and I'm finally getting back into blogging and all things business. ;)

That being said.... I've decided to have a "We Just Moved, Lets Have A Sale" sale.  The BEST part?, this sale is available to EVERYONE!! Old clients, new clients... and everyone in between. Sessions in Livingston Co will be VERY limited, so if you are interested in booking one, please contact me ASAP, because once the dates are gone... they are gone. Sessions for those in Calhoun Co and  Kalamazoo Co., will also be limited, however, exceptions can be made for those needing weekday appts. (please contact me for weekday availability)

The sale will run from September 1st through October 30th.

The sale is applicable to family and children sessions only. and is priced for up to 5 people, additional people are $10 each. In addition to the session, you will receive 10 fully edited, digital downloads, with print rights.  This is a great chance to get new family photos for this years Christmas cards. ;)

Spring Sale!!

According to the calendar, spring is right around the corner. But I think Mother Nature has other plans in mind. I don't know about you, but I am soooo ready for warmer weather. I NEED Spring, and sun, and flowers, and birds, and bike rides!

Since the weather won't cooperate with my need for warmer days, why not try and make my own happy. Right? And what makes me happy?...A sale! Nothing like a great deal to brighten my mood. ;) I am going to go ahead and assume that you all feel the same way, yes? Good. Okay then, are you ready?!

And for clarification purposes... the "whole shebang" includes: A full session for up to 4 people (add $10 for each additional person), PLUS a CD with the edited images from your session (a full session typically yields about 20-30 images), WITH print rights!! Yes.. you read that right. You will receive full print rights to the images. Meaning... you can print as many as your little heart desires!! Print some for grandma, some for your Aunt and Uncle in Florida, print some for your wall, some for your wallet, and some for your fridge! Wanna put them on Facebook?! No prob! There will also be a folder with web-ready images all set to post to FB. So go ahead.. plaster your page with photos of your family/kids/neighbor/dog (kidding, I don't do pets... haha. But at this price, you very well good buy a session for your neighbors. You know, the ones who watched your dog/cat/gerbil last time you went out of town?)

This deal will not last... so book now! A 50% deposit is due upon booking to secure your date/time. The remaining 50% is due at the session. Did I mention that you can book as far out as you like? I was a little worried the day of this shoot. I woke up that morning to some pretty nasty looking skies and sporadic rain showers all morning. Thankfully, by the time the shoot rolled around, the rain had stopped and it actually warmed up a little. ;)

This cutie mama delivered just a few weeks after our shoot. It's rather unfair how amazing she looked this late into her pregnancy. Lucky girl!! ;)

Fashion Friday | family of females

I really have been neglecting Fashion Fridays. :/ Sorry about that one. But never fear! FF is back, and the first look is so cute and easy... ANYONE can pull it off!

The look comes from Old Navy.  I'm loving the mix of bright pink and purple and navy. And the textures on the moms shirt, and the little girls shirts are great for visual detail! The stripes and flower patterns mix wonderfully together. This an easy casual look that any family can pull off, no sweat.

No, you could swap out dads pink striped polo for a solid color, OR a stripe with no pink (I know I could probably never convince my hubby to wear pink.. lol) And you could add leggings to the middle girls outfit as well, if you wanted.

The point of FF is give you IDEAS about how to put together a look that WORKS together. There is no need to all wear the exact same thing (unless you want to... there is nothing wrong with that), but you DO want outfits that compliment one another instead of competing with one another. ;)

Another thing to remember is that you do not need to go out and buy everyone new clothes. Shop your OWN closet first, see what you have that works together. You might need to buy a few things, but there is no need to break the bank. ;)
