The website is undergoing a massive overhaul. ;) It's soooo exciting!!! I'll be working hard though the Holidays getting ready for the BIG UNVEILING in January!

MINI SESSION SPECIAL!! | Howell, Michigan photographer

Hey all!! 'Tis the season for giving so I've decided to give you all a special treat! For the month of November I'm offering mini sessions, plus CD, for only $100!!! Yes... that's right, a mini session PLUS a CD with printing rights, for ONLY $100!! That's more than HALF OFF the normal fee. :)

Mini Sessions are for up to 5 people (each additional person is $10),  they last 30 mins, and take place anywhere within 40 miles of my home. They include a CD, with full printing rights, with the top 10 images from your session.

This is a great chance to get some photos for those Christmas cards, gifts for family, or just some updated photos of the kids. :)

I have a small obsession with Cider Mills. ;) This one specifically..... *sigh* The light..oh the glowing, romantic, beautiful light! I've shot here more than a few times (even had my OWN family portraits taken here) and it never disappoints.

The fact that this mama was positively stunning and glowing didn't hurt either. ;) Thank you for asking me to capture this precious moment in your lives!! Congratulations again to the parents-to-be.

The last one is a little hard to read.... but the signs they are holding read: "YOU + ME = BABY" Can I tell you how excited I was when the showed me that they brought the ultrasound photo and asked if we could incorporate it somehow. Umm.. YES!! It was like they read my mind. ;)

Sparty On!

Do you know how hard it was for me to post that title??!! LOL I am a die hard U-M fan!! ;) But when this gorgeous momma called and wanted a session at MSU of her cute little family... I couldn't resist. ;)

Dad is the new assistant basketball coach and so they wanted to really play up the whole "Spartan" theme. I think we nailed it. And I can't wait to see little Miss Q in another couple months for her 2 year session. ;)

The BIG Holiday Contest!!

The holidays are coming! Are you excited?! I am. ;) I love the holidays. The chill in the air, the hot cocoa in the mugs, the parties, the gift giving, the spirit that seems to be in everyone. AND..... in keeping with the wonderful "giving spirit" of the season, I am GIVING away a FULL FAMILY SESSION, plus CD!

Want to win?! Of course you do! And it's sooo easy!

All you have to do is email a photo of your child(ren) to whitney@whitneymccoyphotography.com (in the subject line be sure to put HOLIDAY 2011). Photos will then be posted in a special album on WMP Facebook page. The photo with the most "LIKES" wins a full family session (for up to 6 people) and image CD. :)

Here are the rules:

-Photos must be submitted before midnight, Sunday, October 16th.

-One submission per family.

-Photos must be YOUR OWN! If it's a professional photo you MUST have the rights to use it.

-You must include your full name and contact info in the email. (if you win I want to be able to get a hold of you.. ;) 

-You must live in, or be willing to travel to, the SE Michigan area for the photo session.

That's it! Voting will run from Monday, Oct. 17th thru Sunday, Oct. 23rd. And the winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 24th!

So.. I realized I failed to blog this cutie family a couple months back!! Shame on me... ;)

This little boy was a DOLL to work with, seriously... sooooo cute and sooo good! Wish my kids would listen to me as well as he did. :)
